Zak Elgamal, LSA, CSA, SA-C
Chief Executive Officer
Zak Elgamal holds a M.B., B CH in Medicine and Surgery from Ain-Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He received graduate training in General Surgery and Trauma Orthopedics at the Anglo-American Hospital in Cairo, Egypt. Additionally, he received graduate training in Healthcare Management in Cairo, Egypt. He is a Vanguard Member of the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE) and a member of the American College of Healthcare Administrators (ACHCA).

Mr. Elgamal is a member of many distinguished advisory boards such as the Advisory Board on Health Care Staffing Certification (HCFC) of The Joint Commission (JCAHO) and the Committee of Allied Healthcare at the Memorial Healthcare System (MHHS-SW).

His additional certifications are of a Licensed Surgical Assistant (LSA) in Texas, Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA), National Surgical Assistant Association and Surgical Assistant, Certified (SA-C), American Board of Surgical Assistants.

He currently holds the position of President and Chief Executive Officer, AH Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries, a portfolio company of GPP, LLP. He is the Co-Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer.

Jaime A. Olmo Jr., LSA, CSA, SA-C
Chief Operating Officer
Jaime Olmo received his medical training at the Universidad Central del Este and CETEC University, both in the Dominican Republic. In addition to being a Doctor of Medicine, Mr. Olmo is a certified surgical assistant with both the National Surgical Assistants Association (NSAA) and the American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA). He has previously served as the President of the Professional Surgical Assistants, International Surgical Assistant Service of Texas, Inc.

Jaime is a Co-Founder and the Chief Operating Officer of American Surgical Assistants.

Doug Bohrer
Chief Development Officer
Doug Bohrer joined American Surgical Assistants as Chief Development Officer in 2012. He has over fourteen years in sales and marketing from several reputable health and health technology companies. Most recently he acted as Vice President of North American Sales for Kinetic Concepts, Inc., a worldwide leader in high-technology therapies and products for the wound care regenerative medicine and therapeutic support system markets,where he launched key business processes that reversed eleven quarters of declining sale. Prior to his role there, Doug led a 400-person sales force responsible in the sale of wound healing devices at Active Healing Solution. Doug also spent several years at Johnson & Johnson, successfully presiding over a variety of products in the health field. Additionally, Doug served in the U.S. Armed Services as a Captain for five years.

David Richardson, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
David Richardson joined ASA as Chief Financial Officer in April 2011. He has significant healthcare experience having previously served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President and Corporate Controller of several private and public healthcare companies since 2001. Prior to serving in these roles, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for seven years. David is a licensed CPA.
